A car QR code sticker is a printed QR code you stick on your windscreen or vehicle. When someone scans it with their phone camera, they can share their location and send you a WhatsApp alert, for example if your car is blocking them or a light is left on. They never see your phone number.
A number on your windscreen is visible to everyone, including people who misuse it. With a SetuTag QR code, your number is never shown. Only people who actually scan the code can alert you, and you keep control of who has your number.
No. Whoever scans only ever sees a simple web page asking them to share their location. Your number is stored encrypted and is never sent to their browser at any point.
700 is more than a lifetime of normal use for a vehicle. Most tags will never come close. Emergency alerts count too: each message sent to an emergency contact uses one alert. In the rare case you do use them all, grab a new tag and you're covered for another 700.
No โ any phone camera can scan the QR code, and everything happens in the browser.
Print it, cut out the QR code, and stick it on your vehicle where it is easy to see. Cover it with clear tape or laminate it so sun and rain don't wear it out. Scan it once with your own phone to check it opens the right page.
Up to two optional numbers you can add when you get your tag, such as family members. If someone sees a real emergency (an accident, a medical situation), they get a separate button to alert your emergency contacts instead of you. Their numbers stay hidden too. An emergency alert messages every contact you added, and each message counts towards your 700 alerts, so two contacts use two.
Right on this page โ cards, UPI, netbanking, and wallets, via Razorpay. Your tag's QR code and PDF are generated the moment payment completes, no waiting.
Go to Activate a tag and enter the 7-digit code printed on the back, along with your WhatsApp number and your vehicle type. It's ready to use immediately after that.
