QR code sticker for your bike or scooter
Two-wheelers get parked in tight spots, blocked in, moved and knocked over. A QR code lets anyone who needs you scan, share their location and reach you on WhatsApp, with no phone number on show.
Why two-wheeler owners use a QR tag
Bikes and scooters are usually parked in crowded places: outside markets, in society lanes, near offices and stations. That is where they get boxed in by cars, knocked over, or moved by someone who cannot find the owner. A QR code gives that person a way to reach you without you publishing your number.
What people can tell you
- Your scooter is blocked in, or blocking someone else.
- It has fallen over or been knocked.
- The headlight or indicators are still on.
- Someone is tampering with it, or it looks like it is about to be towed.
- Something is wrong and they want to help.
Where to stick it on a two-wheeler
- The side panel or leg shield of a scooter.
- The side of a bike's fuel tank, or a side panel.
- Somewhere flat, clean and easy to scan from the side or the back.
Do not put it over the number plate, the lights or the reflectors. Our tag is 13 cm wide and 7 cm tall, so check it fits the spot you have in mind before you print. Cover it with clear laminate or use weatherproof vinyl so heat, dust and rain do not wear it out.
The rules about stickers on vehicles are mostly about glass and number plates. This page explains what we found.
How it works
- Stick the tag on your bike or scooter.
- Someone scans it with any phone camera, shares their location and picks or types a message.
- You get a WhatsApp alert with where they are and what they said.

Is the number on my bike visible to people who scan?
No. Your WhatsApp number is never shown to the person scanning. They only see a page asking them to share their location.
Does the tag work on a motorcycle as well as a scooter?
Yes. You choose the vehicle type when you get your tag: car, scooter, motorcycle, auto-rickshaw, bus, truck or other.
What if my bike is parked where there is no signal?
The person scanning needs mobile data to open the page. You receive the alert on WhatsApp as soon as your phone is online.
